Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA), 14-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Turks now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Evergreen for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1.

With the loss, Orcas Island falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Shorewood (Shoreline, WA) to face the Stormrays in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. The Stormrays enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
