White Pine Bobcats (Ely, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pahranagat Valley Panthers (Alamo, NV), 14-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Altamont for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15.

With the loss, Pahranagat Valley falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Virgin Valley won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against White Pine (Ely, NV)
