The Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host The Meadows School Mustangs to 5 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Pinecrest Academy Cadence improves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Longhorns in a 4A Desert game on Tuesday, March 19. The Longhorns come into the game with a record of 2-5. Legacy lost 14-6 in their recent non-league game against Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Del Sol Dragons (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 18. The Meadows School will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Dragons come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 20-7 non-league win over Valley (Las Vegas, NV).
