The Cheshire Academy Cats baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Varsity Opponent to 3 in the Cats non-league win on Sunday.
The Cats now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league test on Monday, March 10. Cheshire Academy will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Boone (Orlando, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 4-8.
With the defeat, Varsity Opponent drops to 12-34 on the year. The host TNXL Academy (Altamonte Springs, FL) to clash with the Ducks in a non-league test on Sunday, March 9. The Ducks go into the test with a record of 13-1. TNXL Academy won 10-0 in their recent league test against Georgia Premier Academy (Statesboro, GA)
