Troy Warriors (Fullerton, CA) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA), 7-3 in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sonora for a North Hills test on Thursday, March 12. Troy will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to El Modena (Orange, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Arroyo drops to 2-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA) to clash with the Kares in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 11. The Kares go into the test with a record of 1-1. Rio Hondo Prep won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA)
