The Bellflower Buccaneers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Mayfair Monsoons to 1 in the Buccaneers non-league win on Monday.
The Buccaneers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Paramount for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 11. Bellflower will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 12-0 league win over Dominguez (Compton, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-0.
The Monsoons (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Falcons enter the Mid Cities outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Firebaugh achieved victory over Lynwood (Lynwood, CA), 10-2, in a league outing.
