The Bishop Lynch Friars (Dallas, TX) baseball trounced the host Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX), 12-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Friars now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Legacy Christian Academy for a TAPPS Division I District 2 challenge on Friday, March 13. Bishop Lynch will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 21-2 non-league win over Episcopal School of Dallas (Dallas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
Next, the Leopards face the Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX) in a 4A Region II District 9 battle, on Tuesday, March 10. Gainesville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 5-9 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Dallas, TX).
