California High School Softball - Nordhoff succumbs to Foothill Tech

March 9, 2026: Ventura, CA 93003

In Monday's non-league test, the Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Nordhoff Rangers (Ojai, CA), by a score of 23-3.

With the triumph, Foothill Tech improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Dragons travel to St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA) to face the Seraphs in a Tri-Valley contest on Tuesday, March 10. The Seraphs enter the contest with a record of 6-1. St. Bonaventure won 7-3 in their recent non-league contest against Viewpoint (Calabasas, CA)

The Rangers now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Del Sol for a non-league contest on Friday, March 13. Nordhoff will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 17-16 non-league loss to Carpinteria (Carpinteria, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-5.
