Black Hills Wolves (Tumwater, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their baseball team gain a win over the visiting Rainier Mountaineers (Rainier, WA), 7-3 in a non-league match.
The Wolves (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Aberdeen (Aberdeen, WA). The Bobcats go into the 2A Evergreen match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Aberdeen was overwhelmed by Centralia (Centralia, WA), 14-3, in a league match.
The Mountaineers (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Wahkiakum (Cathlamet, WA). The Mules go into the 2B Central match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Wahkiakum tipped Toledo (Toledo, WA), 1-0, in a league match.
