The Blue Valley Northwest Huskies baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Aquinas Saints to 2 in the Huskies league victory on Friday.
The Huskies (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS). The Ravens come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Olathe Northwest by Olathe North (Olathe, KS), 13-2, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Aquinas falls to 1-2 on the season. The Saints host Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, KS) to battle the Timberwolves in a Eastern Kansas challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
