The Brookstone Cougars baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Murphy Panthers to 2 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
The Cougars (8-13) will now prepare for their match against St. Anne-Pacelli (Columbus, GA). The Vikings go into the A Private Region 4 match with a 12-7 record. In their last match, St. Anne-Pacelli was overwhelmed by Fort Walton Beach (Fort Walton Beach, FL), 8-5, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (2-16) will now prepare for their match against St. Paul's Episcopal (Mobile, AL). The Saints go into the non-league match with a 11-6 record. In their last match, St. Paul's Episcopal gained a win over Brookstone (Columbus, GA), 10-0, in a non-league match.
