The Lindbergh Flyers baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs to 3 in the Flyers non-league victory on Friday.
The Flyers (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO). The Jaguars go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Fort Zumwalt West nipped Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Fort Zumwalt South falls to 0-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Timberland (Wentzville, MO) to battle the T-Wolves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. The T-Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
