The Trinity Shamrocks baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings to 4 in the Shamrocks non-league victory on Friday.
The Shamrocks (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Lake Central (St. John, IN). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Lake Central edged Providence (Clarksville, IN), 14-3, in a non-league match.
The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their match against St. Xavier (Louisville, KY). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record.
