The Washington Panthers baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets go into the Mid-Illini match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Limestone was overwhelmed by Normal West (Normal, IL), 12-7, in a non-league match.
The Grey Ghosts (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL). The Panthers go into the Illini Prairie match with a 4-2 record.
