The Wheeling Wildcats crushed the visiting Northridge Knights baseball team by a count of 7-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Vernon Hills for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 5. Wheeling will face a Cougars team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.
Next, the Knights face the North Shore Country Day Raiders (Winnetka, IL) in a Independent School bout, on Tuesday, April 5. Northridge will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record.
