North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA), 16-3 in a non-league battle.
The Hornets now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Triton Regional for a Cape Ann battle on Monday, April 4.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Melrose Red Raiders (Melrose, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 8. Medford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
