In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs soccer squad scored a close 3-0 win over the Cossatot River Eagles.
The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sheridan (Sheridan, AR). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Sheridan by Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Centerpoint (Amity, AR). The Knights go into the 3A South battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Centerpoint nipped Harmony Grove (Benton, AR), 2-1, in a league battle.
