In Friday's non-league game, the Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), by a final score of 4-0.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mather (Chicago, IL). The Rangers enter the Chicago Public First Division North challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Mather by Marine Leadership Academy (Chicago, IL), 8-0, in a league challenge.

The Blue Demons now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Addison Trail for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. Maine East will confront a Blazers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Blazers record now stands at 0-2.
