In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Piedmont Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 13-10 victory over the Cherokee County Warriors.
The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Alexandria (Alexandria, AL). The Valley Cubs go into the non-league game with a 12-1 record. In their last game, Alexandria tipped Lincoln (Lincoln, AL), 8-3, in a non-league game.
