Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA), 6-1 in a non-league game.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA). The Colts go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
The Polar Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Big Spring (Newville, PA). The Bulldogs go into the game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Big Spring was overwhelmed by Carlisle (Carlisle, PA), 11-2, in a non-league game.
