Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA), 9-8 in a non-league test.

The Vikings now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rock Ridge for a Dulles test on Tuesday, April 5. Loudoun Valley will face a Phoenix squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA). The Phoenix record now stands at 0-4.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA) in a Battlefield test, on Monday, April 4. Kettle Run will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
