The Durant Lions soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Sapulpa Chieftains to 3 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Lions face the McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK) in a 5A District 3 contest, on Tuesday, April 5. Durant will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Buffaloes enter the contest with a 2-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Rejoice Christian (Owasso, OK).
The Chieftains now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Shawnee for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 5. Sapulpa will face a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Edison (Tulsa, OK). The Wolves record now stands at 1-2.
