In Friday's non-league battle, the host Independence Eagles soccer squad scored a close 4-3 triumph over the Overton Bobcats.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, TN). The Commandos come into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Hendersonville was nudged by Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Bobcats (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hillsboro (Nashville, TN). The Burros come into the 3A District 10 battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Hillsboro nudged Franklin Road Academy (Nashville, TN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
