Louisiana High School Softball - Barbe bounces New Iberia

The Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) softball routed the host New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA), 16-3 in Friday's league bout.

The Buccaneers (15-5) will now prepare for their bout against Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Rams go into the 5A District 3 bout with a 16-7 record. In their last bout, Acadiana toppled Comeaux (Lafayette, LA), 16-1, in a league bout.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 7-18 record. They play next when they host Sulphur for a 5A District 3 bout on Wednesday, April 6.
