Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Great Oak Wolfpack (Temecula, CA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rio Mesa for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. Canyon View will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Great Oak falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA) to battle the Nighthawks in a Southwestern challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Nighthawks enter the challenge with a record of 12-8. Murrieta Valley lost 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Poly (Riverside, CA)
