Northeastern Bobcats (Manchester, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Eastern York Golden Knights (Wrightsville, PA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central York for a York-Adams 4 challenge on Monday, April 4. Northeastern will face a Panthers squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Susquehannock (Glen Rock, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Eastern York falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Golden knights travel to Littlestown (Littlestown, PA) to face the Thunderbolts in a York-Adams 4 challenge on Monday, April 4. The Thunderbolts enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
