Spectators at Friday's league match between the Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) and the visiting Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA), witnessed Wakefield's softball squad tip Edison by a count of 5-3.

The Warriors now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a Potomac match on Monday, April 4. Wakefield will meet a Ram squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA). The Ram record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Edison moves to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Fairfax (Fairfax, VA) to meet the Lions in a non-league match on Monday, April 4. The Lions go into the match with a record of 1-2.
