The Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL) softball routed the visiting Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL), 18-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Red Raiders (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Lynn (Lynn, AL). The Bears go into the 1A Area 12 bout with a 6-10 record.

The Bears now possess a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Belgreen for a 1A Area 14 bout on Thursday, April 7.
