Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), 20-4 in a non-league challenge.

The SonBlazers now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 1. Mesilla Valley Christian School will face a squad coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The record now stands at 8-21.

With the loss, Socorro falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-5.
