The Poca The Dots softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Mingo Central Miners to 1 in the The Dots league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Poca improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The The Dots travel to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league game on Saturday, April 2. The Grizzlies come into the game with a record of 4-3. Nicholas County lost 5-3 in their recent league game against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV)
In their next game, the Miners clash with the River View Raiders (Bradshaw, WV) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 6. Mingo Central will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
