The Sale Creek Panthers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Notre Dame Fighting Irish to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Sale Creek moves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Panthers host Copper Basin (Copperhill, TN) to clash with the Cougars in a 1A District 5 game on Monday, April 4. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 1-5. Copper Basin lost 14-4 in their recent league game against Lookout Valley (Chattanooga, TN)

In their next game, the Fighting Irish clash with the Girls Prep Bruisers (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 1. Notre Dame will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Bruisers come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 18-1 league win over Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN).
