Illinois High School Softball - Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] topped by Rockridge

In Friday's non-league contest, the Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans (Woodhull, IL), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Rockridge moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Rockets travel to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL) to play the Tigers in a Three Rivers contest on Monday, April 4. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 4-0. Sherrard won 9-2 in their recent non-league contest against Princeton (Princeton, IL)

The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Knoxville (Knoxville, IL). The Blue Bullets come into the Lincoln Trail test with a 1-1 record.
