Oklahoma High School Baseball - Afton loses to Nowata

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Nowata Ironmen baseball team scored a tight 10-3 victory over the Afton Eagles.
The Ironmen (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Dewey (Dewey, OK). The Bulldoggers go into the non-league game with a 11-8 record. In their last game, Dewey held off Chelsea (Chelsea, OK), 12-2, in a non-league contest.
The Eagles now sport a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host Commerce for a Lucky Seven contest on Monday, April 3. Afton will play a Tigers squad coming off a 19-9 league loss to Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 2-8.
