In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Santiago Sharks baseball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Arlington Lions.
The Sharks (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Mustangs go into the Big VIII game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Roosevelt tipped King (Riverside, CA), 6-2, in a league game.
The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Ramona (Riverside, CA). The Rams go into the River Valley game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Ramona tipped Adelanto (Adelanto, CA), 10-4, in a non-league game.
