The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Charlotte Christian Knights to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their match against Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC). The Lions go into the NCISAA Carolina match with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Asheville Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC), 8-7, in a non-league outing.
Next, the Knights confront the Charlotte Latin Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a NCISAA Charlotte outing, on Tuesday, April 4. Charlotte Christian will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Hawks go into the outing with a 1-7 record after their 5-1 league loss to Covenant Day (Matthews, NC).
