Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Coronado Cougars (Colorado Springs, CO) and the host Trinidad Miners (Trinidad, CO), saw Coronado's baseball squad beat Trinidad by a margin of 9-2.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 6. Coronado will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Rangers enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 16-6 non-league win over Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO).
