In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Davidson Academy Bears baseball team scored a nice 15-2 victory over the Huntland Hornets.
The Bears (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Goodpasture Christian (Madison, TN). The Cougars go into the D II-A Middle 4 game with a 11-2 record. In their last game, Goodpasture Christian overcame Montgomery Bell Academy (Nashville, TN), 20-7, in a non-league game.
The Hornets (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Whitwell (Whitwell, TN). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Whitwell was overwhelmed by Tournament Opponent (, ), 8-3, in a non-league contest.
