The Putnam County Panthers baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Dyersburg Trojans to 5 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Dwight (Dwight, IL). The Trojans go into the Tri-County match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Dwight was edged by Marquette (Ottawa, IL), 15-3, in a league match.
The Trojans (1-4) will now prepare for their match against University (Carmel, IN). The Trailblazers go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, University was edged by Life Prep (Wichita, KS), 16-3, in a non-league match.
