Texas High School Baseball - Gainesville loses to South Hills

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting South Hills Scorpions baseball team scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Gainesville Leopards.

The Scorpions (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX). The Parrots go into the 5A Region I District 6 game with a 5-10 record. In their last game, Polytechnic was overwhelmed by Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX), 8-6, in a league game.

The Leopards (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Sanger (Sanger, TX). The Indians go into the 4A Region I District 7 game with a 15-8 record. In their last game, Sanger tipped Hirschi (Wichita Falls, TX), 32-3, in a league game.
