North Carolina High School Baseball - Holmes loses to J.H. Rose

In Saturday's non-league game, the host J.H. Rose Rampants baseball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Holmes Aces.

The Rampants (13-1) will now prepare for their game against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Vikings go into the Big East 3A/4A game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, D.H. Conley was overwhelmed by Southern Nash (Bailey, NC), 4-3, in a non-league game.

The Aces (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights go into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Currituck County tipped Manteo (Manteo, NC), 12-1, in a league game.
