North Carolina High School Baseball - New Bern loses to West Carteret

The West Carteret Patriots baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting New Bern Bears to 7 in the Patriots non-league victory on Saturday.
The Patriots (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Croatan (Newport, NC). The Cougars go into the Coastal 3A match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Croatan edged White Oak (Jacksonville, NC), 11-6, in a league match.
The Bears (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC). The Hurricanes go into the non-league match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Pamlico County edged Havelock (Havelock, NC), 11-5, in a non-league match.
