Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO) and the visiting Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), saw Pueblo County's baseball squad edge Palmer Ridge by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Hornets play the Lamar Thunder (Lamar, CO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 4. Pueblo County will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Thunder enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to La Junta (La Junta, CO).

The Bears now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vista Ridge for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 4. Palmer Ridge will play a Wolves squad coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Wolves record now stands at 7-2.
