California High School Baseball - Santa Rosa nips Rancho Cotate

Santa Rosa Panthers (Santa Rosa, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Santa Rosa upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Piner (Santa Rosa, CA) to battle the Prospectors in a North Bay - Redwood test on Tuesday, April 4. The Prospectors come into the test with a record of 3-9. Piner lost 9-1 in their recent league test against Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA)

With the defeat, Rancho Cotate falls to 7-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Windsor (Windsor, CA) to battle the Jaguars in a North Bay - Oak test on Wednesday, April 5. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 7-1. Windsor won 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Alameda (Alameda, CA)
