South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), 8-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, South View upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Eagles in a United Eight 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 4. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-12. Douglas Byrd lost 21-0 in their recent league test against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC)

With the defeat, Scotland falls to 8-4 on the season. The Fighting scots travel to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC) to battle the Patriots in a Sandhills 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 4. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 12-2. Pinecrest won 8-0 in their recent league test against Lee County (Sanford, NC)
