The Serra Padres held off the host Monte Vista Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Padres now have a 13-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. Serra will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-13.

The Mustangs (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Wildcats enter the East Bay test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Dougherty Valley was nudged by San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA), 25-13, in a league test.
