The Monta Vista Matadors topped the host St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Matadors now have a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynbrook for a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. Monta Vista will confront a Vikings team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Mountain View (Mountain View, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 9-8.

The Wildcats (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Padres enter the WCAL test with a 13-16 record.
