The Harborfields Tornadoes lacrosse team scored 8 points and held the host Greenport-Southold-Mattituck Porters to 7 in the Tornadoes non-league win on Saturday.
The Tornadoes (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Comsewogue (Port Jefferson Station, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 11 II game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Comsewogue nudged Shoreham-Wading River (Shoreham, NY), 11-10, in a league game.
The Porters (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Miller Place (Miller Place, NY). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record.
