In Saturday's non-league battle, the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) lacrosse squad routed the host Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT), by a count of 20-7.
Coming up next, the Panthers clash with the Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 3. Pomperaug will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 19-7 non-league loss to Fitch (Groton, CT).
