The Athens Bulldogs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Lancaster Golden Gales to 6 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Athens improves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Meigs (Pomeroy, OH) to clash with the Marauders in a Tri-Valley - Ohio game on Monday, April 3. The Marauders come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Golden Gales clash with the Logan Chieftains (Logan, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 3. Lancaster will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
