In Saturday's non-league contest, the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH), by a margin of 13-1.
With the triumph, North Union moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH) to play the Lakers in a Central Buckeye - Mad River contest on Monday, April 3. The Lakers come into the contest with a record of 2-0. Indian Lake won 16-3 in their recent non-league contest against Versailles (Versailles, OH)
In their next game, the Barons play the Wellington School Jaguars (Columbus, OH) in a Mid-State - Ohio contest, on Monday, April 3. Buckeye Valley will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
